What we collect
During the Closed MVP phase, HistoryWall does not collect personal data from visitors. Specifically:
- No user accounts or registration.
- No tracking cookies or analytics scripts.
- No advertising networks or pixel tracking.
- No form submissions stored on this site (Closed MVP has no live forms).
Your browser may receive cookies from the hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare CDN) for performance and DDoS protection. These are governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy and are not used by HistoryWall for user profiling.
Server logs
Like all web servers, our hosting provider retains standard server access logs (IP address, request path, timestamp, user agent). These logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days and are used only for security and performance monitoring. They are not sold or shared with third parties.
Public figure data
The statements, sources, and records published on HistoryWall concern public figures acting in their public roles. This information is drawn from publicly available sources and is protected under public interest and freedom of expression principles applicable in the jurisdictions where we operate.
We do not publish personal data about private individuals.
Correction requests
If you submit a correction request and provide contact information, that information is used only to follow up on your request. It is not stored in a public-facing database and is deleted after the correction is resolved (or after 90 days if no resolution is reached).
Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated when HistoryWall leaves Closed MVP phase and introduces user accounts, analytics, or advertising. We will post the updated policy and note the date of change.
