Source Policy — UAP Records Archive
This policy defines which sources are included, which are excluded, and the language rules applied to all records in this archive.
P0 — Highest Priority Sources
Records from these agencies are prioritised for inclusion first:
- NARA — National Archives and Records Administration
- NASA — National Aeronautics and Space Administration
- ODNI — Office of the Director of National Intelligence
- AARO — All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office
- U.S. Congress — Congressional hearings, legislation, and reports
P1 — Secondary Priority Sources
- DoD — Department of Defense
- Navy — United States Navy
- Air Force — United States Air Force
P2 — Tertiary Priority Sources
- NSA — National Security Agency
- FBI — Federal Bureau of Investigation
- CIA — Central Intelligence Agency
- NTSB — National Transportation Safety Board
- FAA — Federal Aviation Administration
P3 — Foreign Government Sources
Official archives from foreign governments (e.g., UK MoD, French CNES/GEIPAN). In the first release, these are linked only — not locally copied and not publicly translated. Inclusion of local copies or translations requires explicit authorisation and confirmation that the originating government permits redistribution.
Excluded Sources (Blacklist)
The following source types are never included:
- Online forums and message boards
- YouTube channels and podcasts
- Social media posts and accounts
- Conspiracy theory websites
- Wikipedia and crowd-sourced encyclopaedias
- AI-generated content
- Individual books or personal accounts (even by credentialed authors)
- Leaked or unauthorised documents
- Unattributed or anonymous reports
Language Rules
Records are presented using neutral, source-attributed language:
- "Document says..." — direct reference to what the source document states
- "Agency conclusion..." — reference to the originating agency's stated conclusions
- "Status: Unresolved" — when the agency has not reached a conclusion
The following language is strictly prohibited in all record descriptions: "aliens confirmed", "cover-up exposed", "ET origin", "extraterrestrial confirmed", "smoking gun", "definitive proof", or any language implying official government endorsement of this archive.
M0.5 banned phrases — never permitted in record titles, descriptions, or editorial copy: "bombshell", "shocking revelation", "secret program revealed", "proof of extraterrestrial life", "non-human intelligence revealed", or "believed to be".
