Corrections & Takedown Requests — UAP Records Archive

This page is the entry point to request a correction to a record in this archive, or to file a DMCA / takedown / removal request.

Independent Archive Disclaimer

UAP Records Archive is an independent public archive and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any government agency. Records link to primary sources at the originating agency or institution; this archive does not claim authority over those sources.

Corrections

A correction request is appropriate when a record in this archive contains a factual error. The following issues qualify:

  • Wrong source URL — the link points to the wrong document or a broken address
  • Wrong agency, date, or record-type attribution — the metadata does not match the source document
  • Broken official link — the originating agency has moved or removed the document
  • Mis-stated status — the record shows "Unresolved" when the agency has issued a conclusion, or vice versa

The following do not qualify as correction grounds:

  • Disagreement with a source agency's stated conclusions — this archive reports what the agency said, not what you believe the agency should have concluded
  • Requests to remove an accurate record of a public primary source — if the source document exists and is correctly described, the record stays

DMCA / Takedown / Removal Requests

If you believe content in this archive infringes your copyright, or if you are a rights holder requesting removal, you may file a notice. Include the following in your submission:

  • The record ID shown on the record page (e.g., UAP-0042)
  • The URL of the specific record or page you are contesting
  • A description of the issue — what content you believe is infringing and why

For a DMCA takedown notice specifically, also include the standard statutory elements:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed
  • Your name and contact information (email address is sufficient)
  • A good-faith statement that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner's behalf

This description is informational. It does not constitute legal advice.

How to Submit

Send your request by email to the interim contact channel:
